Fred enjoyed working with his hands, especially making furniture. He found great satisfaction in creating pieces that could be used and appreciated by others. He also enjoyed volunteering at horse sanctuaries and had a deep compassion for animals. Fred was a proud supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and believed strongly in helping children in need.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Linda (Derek) Babola, and his granddaughter, Braelynn Babola. He is also survived by his sisters, Arabela (Mike) Galan and Christina Gutierrez, along with a niece and nephews, as well as many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Salinas Sr. and Soledad Saenz Salinas.
There will be no funeral or public memorial service.
