She was born in Takoradi, in the Western region of Ghana to Mr. Francis Kobina Ashun and Mrs. Rose Ashun on January 01, 1953.
Anna graduated from Cape Coast Nurses Training College and dedicated her life to the service of others through careers in Health and Senior Care professions.
She was married to Mr. Kakra Tham for 44yrs
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Arlington, TX. She had a passion for gardening, church, family and the community at large.
She is survived by her children: Mrs. Barbara Chapman Ayeh, Ms. Christine O. Tham, Mrs. Mercy A. Poku Owsu, Mrs. Sarah A. Bediako, and Mr. John A. Tham.
Grandchildren: Salome A. Tham, Roman N. Bediako, Isabelle-Rose C. Bediako, Kobina Ayeh and Siblings.
Brothers and Sisters: Ms. Fransica Paden, Mrs. Mary Hinson, Mr. Papa Ashun, Mr. Kofi Ashun, Mr. Francis Baffoe Ashun, Mrs. Josephine A. Annan, Mrs. Stella Abba Sampong.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Francis Ashun, her son Francis Chapman Grant, her brother Mr. Joseph Pius Ashun and her Daughter-in-law Mrs. Azhmir Acosta Tham.
Visitation will be held at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016, US, on October 8, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76017, US, on October 9, =2026, at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be private.
