Nana, my heart was full of sorrow and pain the day of your passing. I couldn't believe the truth. I am so glad that I don't have to hear or see you in pain anymore , as that just tore me apart. You would have done anything in your power for me,  for my dad,  brothers, and our family. You will truly be missed. I remember going to your house and mowing your lawn every week or two. And I used to feel so bad when I hadn't done it and you had to call me and remind me. Now I realize how precious those moments are.  I would do anything to just go back to one of those days, be in your back yard sweaty and hot,  and you would always be standing there on the back porch with a bottle of water for me. So thoughtful of others you were. I also remember staying overnight at your house when papa was on call just so you wouldn't be scared. If I could go back,  I would have gone and layed with you but instead I stayed in the other room. Nana,  I just want to thank you for the moment of wisdom you gave me 2 days before your passing, you grabbed my arm as I layed in your bed and said "jace come close to me" so I did. And I layed my head on your chest and you began. " jace,  you know I have done all I can for you kids". I just layed there and cried and agreed with you. Thank you for that moment as I will always keep that with me. I also have the necklace that me and Olivia bought you and I will keep that forever. Nana please watch over your family. Keep an eye on my dad. Heaven gained an angel. I love you so much. Rest in peace nana

When we moved to the neighborhood, Betty was the first neighbor we met.  My husband noticed the light under the house number of her front door was out, so he bought one for her and that's how we met.  Betty always had a smile on her face and a cheery word to say.  She was a kind-hearted soul who will now be able to work in the gardens of heaven.  God bless her family and give them peace to know Betty is not suffering any longer.

Nena was without a doubt the coolest old lady I knew.  She could ride a bike just as fast and good as I could! Very sweet and respectable lady, she will be missed dearly by many.

betty i am so glad to have got to talk to u i will miss our talks. u re look so much like grandma. i bet u and grandma will b dancing all over haven and daddy playing music i will miss u forever betty u will never b forgot i love u. RIP my cousin.

I don't think anyone can feel more loved than the members of this family. Nana you did so much for everyone & my kids & I, it goes beyond words what I would've done for you. I enjoyed the times we spent together & all the talks we had.  
The morning after your passing I walked out into the yard & saw the flowers you were so proud to tend to, hit me hard the reality that you were gone. I am so lucky & proud to be part of this family. You were a kind heart. I will never forget how you would clog for us & make us all laugh when we left after a visit. Flashed us a few times too.. lol & one thing, noone could EVER tell you you could not do something. you'd show us all. You could run circles around us all. 
You will never, for one second in this lifetime be forgotten. I miss you Nana!!

Hey Nana its bubba ,I think I gave you the name Nana but you know you were more like a mom to me. I didn't think I'd be in this position so soon and hate that we are. You were definitely the family glue the mother hen the matriarch and we will miss you so much. Sheila may has some huge shoes to fill.you did so many positive and funny things for the family that will always live on.everyone knows you would have done anything for anyone and there needs to be more people like you.I'm so glad you got to meet kylee and I'll make sure she gets to know all the things you have done.we will never to forget you and god got a great angel. I love you so much Nana and there's not enough room here to tell you that or say what you mean to me.I know you'll be watching over all of us so I'll walk a straight line and be the man you'll be proud of..I love you......
