Betty Loretta Williams, age 88, of Midlothian, TX, passed away on July 17, 2026. She was born on April 21, 1938, in Bridgeport, Texas, to Roy and Pauline Bean. Betty graduated from Bridgeport High School and spent her life carrying forward the steady values of home, family, and community.
Betty married Nolan Wayne Williams on June 21, 1986. She worked as a receptionist for Presbyterian Village in Dallas, Texas, where her dependable presence and courteous manner helped others feel welcomed and cared for. Betty was also a member of the Caring Angels Prayer Group and the Senior Singles Club of Kaufman, reflecting a life rooted in faith, fellowship, and the quiet strength of showing up for others.
She had a passion for her Lord Jesus, her family, friends, grandchildren and great-grands. She loved everyone she met and saw Jesus in every person and situation.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Williams; her sisters, Sue Boldin and Margaret Nell Bean; and her son, Raymond Leslie Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Brown) Vanderpoel; her son, Wayne W. McCreary III (Trey), and his wife, Cindi; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Clark) and Corey Dashner, Vicki (Clark) Prince, Jennifer (Clark) and Brett Lathrop, Terry Lee Maynard, Chelsi and Jonothan Bartosh, Maci and Garrett Albaugh, Brandi Brown and Aurora McCreary; and her great-grandchildren, Adilyn, Jaz, and Zalina Morse, Carson and Christina Wilhelm, Logan Baker, Taylyn Dashner, Heather (Tire), Joshua, and Eden Prince, Eli Bartosh, Eden and Noah Albaugh, Dejuan and Dewayne Sims, and Dawson Lathrop. She is also survived by her sister Jan (Sutton) and Joe Crowder.
Visitation will be held at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016, on July 30, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016, on July 31, 2026, at 10:00 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232, on July 31, 2026, at 1:00 pm
