Beverly Irene Smith passed away Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, in Mansfield. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Friday at Moore Bowen Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.pawswithacause.org or www.missionarlington.org. She was born in Hardinsburg, Ky., to the late Percy T. and Beatrice H. Mattingly. She was lovingly dedicated to her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was known as the neighborhood mom and grandmother. She loved her pet puppies, patio garden, roses and her teapot collection. Survivors: Husband, Dale Smith; children, Christine Marie Bell and Sherry Lynn Gardner; grandchildren, Amber Michelle Gardner and Amanda Christine Gardner; siblings, Barbara Sue Rodgers, Brenda J. Dial, Theodore Eugene Mattingly, Rebecca J. Aubert and Theresa L. Wilson; brother-in-law, Douglas J Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and neighborhood family.
