Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss and know I share my heartfelt sorrow with Brian's passing.  I've known him since middle school and we were those crazy preteens that expressed their affection for one another through negative means - pestering and heckling by him, and a punch in the eye by me!  He was playful, emotionally deep and insightful.  I know he's found a great measure of peace that he so much wanted.

We will always remember Brian.  He was a friend of our son since 6th grade.  We drove him to many basketball games where he participated in with our son, Steve.  He was always gentle and respectful of our family.  Always enjoyed when he stopped by around Christmas for a cookie or two!  The last time we saw Brian was when he stopped by to tell us he was moving to Texas, but he would return.  We pray he is at peace with the Lord.  The Dachauers - San Bruno, CA

My sincere condolences to Brian's family & friends. Having known Brian since Elementary school (John Muir), Junior high (Engvall) & Crestmoor, I was saddened to read of his demise. He was an excellent athlete & we played together on many teams. He was competitive, hard-nosed & always did his best to help the team. Basketball was his favorite sport & wrote in my Senior yearbook that he was going to Marin JC to play. I don't know if he ever did, as we lost touch after graduation from HS. He was a good man...and left us far too soon. 
His smile was contagious, & he could always be counted on to spice up the day with his devious ideas. Rest in peace Brian...

I was so saddened to hear of Brian's passing. My younger brother Michael and he were very good friends growing up; our families lived across the street from each other. Brian was a great kid and I'll always remember his smiling face. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

I was shocked , then saddened by Brian's passing.  Brian was a kind, gentle and caring man with a fun sense of humor.  I will miss him and I will be mindful that we are better for having known him. I have so many memories of spending time with Brian and another friend, Michael Morales. We all lived on the same block and would hang out after school, shooting hoops and listening to music. I'll miss Brian coming over to play with Punkie.  She adored him.  I enjoyed him coming over to chat when I was out working in the yard. After a storm I was trying to figure out how I was going to clean up a fallen branch, but Brian had cut it, tied it up and stacked it for me.  That's the kind of good-hearted guy he was.  You're a special guy and I'll miss you.

Susan, I knew Brian as a talented and hard-working painter.  He would share with me what a wonderful cook you were and how much he loved his dogs.  He will be missed.  May our Heavenly Father give you comfort in your sorrow.  Sincerely, Ann HIckson
