Aunt Candy is going to be missed for all the vibrancy and character she lived her life with. We hope to reconnect in the future when we visit Fort Worth. Peyton and I would have loved to represent our mom at her celebration today and are sad to have missed it. We love you Taylor and are thankful that our moms are now together in perfect eternity, where they will be without the pain of this world. They will forever be sisters on Earth and now in Heaven and in Christ.

What a loss. Candace always had a smile and a funny comment. During the years that she and Mike were clients of mine, I used to love to go to La Tienda to pick up her paperwork. It was a joy to know and work with her. Heaven just got one helluva resident.

I was fortunate to work with Candace on several projects and she helped me on the last one before she got too weak. Always a joy to be around!! Rest in peace my friend. Strength and comfort to Mike and Taylor.

Mrs. Hawkins and her family became my family years ago when they were our neighbors, I remember going to her work with Taylor and playing under her desk at La Tienda. She was a wonderful woman and always had a smile that was contagious! She was a fighter, always has been. My family and I will miss her so much. Fly high miss Candace! We love you!!

I worked under Candace back in 2002. She taught me the ropes about what would eventually become my career. I recall her great laugh and positive vibes day in and day out. I learned a lot from her. My condolences go out to her family and loved ones.
