

Funeral service for Carl Edward Aydelotte III will be held at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2024. The family will begin greeting friends at 10:00 a.m. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at 11:15 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas, TX 75211.
Carl Edward Aydelotte III, age 74, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, October 04, 2024, in Arlington, TX. He was born October 07, 1949, in Dallas, TX. He was the son of Carl Edward Aydelotte Jr and Doris Dolores Diamond.
He and Ms. Linda Kay Wood exchanged wedding vows on January 07, 1972. Carl was a Marine and later served in the Army reserve. After he and Linda married, he was stationed in Oahu, Hawaii. Their twins, Buck and Tasha, were born there. Five years later they moved back home to Texas to raise their family. Of all the jobs he held, security was his favorite. Carl worked in security at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX. He also enjoyed woodworking, cooking, old cars, big band era music, and guns. He was a quiet man, but he sure loved his family. He was a sweet and loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Linda Aydelotte; his three children, Buck Aydelotte, Tasha Phillips and her husband, James Phillips, and Brandi Aydelotte; two grandchildren, Kaylee Look and her husband, Jon Look, and Shelby Brown and her husband, Trent Brown; five great-grandchildren, Amelia, Ellie, Bowen, Waylon, and Denver; and his sister, Robyn Peck.
