Carla Jean Prince

Carla Jean Prince was born December 23, 1946, in Dallas, Tx to parents Roy Adams and Betty Crouch. A beloved sister, cherished mother and grandmother, Carla passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Carla loved spending time with her family, friends and dogs. She especially enjoyed the many travels and memories she was able to make with them throughout her lifetime.

Her children, grandson and dogs were what she loved most in life. When asked what her proudest family moments were, she would happily tell you that every moment she had with them was her proudest.

She loved music by the Eagles, Celine Dion, Dwight Yoakam and George Strait. Her favorite color was purple, and most of all she loved how those closest to her could make her laugh.

Carla always felt it important to always tell someone you love them and will be lovingly remembered as always saying “I love you more”.

Carla is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Adams and Betty crouch, her devoted husband, John “Rusty” Prince, and her sister Peggy Adams.

She is survived by siblings Kenny Moore, Roy Adams, Cindy Williams, Larry Moore, and Lana Adams; children, Leigh Anne and Jeff Coughran, and Jon Prince and spouse Damaris Prince; and grandson, Logan Coughran.

A graveside service for Carla will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 Cedar Hill Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137.
