A toast to what we hoped would be building a bunch of memories.

This was the first time I met Larry. We both drove to Mobile AL splitting travel distance to make this happen.  We had the same father.  I was blessed to have found him through an ancestry site where I matched with his daughter Dianne.

This was actually my second visit after finding my half-brother Larry in 2018.  I’m very sad.  He  was finally moving back to TX so I would be able to see him and get to know him better.

Larry was my brother-in-law as I married his wife's sister Judith Greener. Unfortunately, Judith passed away in 2020. My family and his were close during the years 1985 - 1993 when my family resided in Wichita Falls, Texas. We visited each other often. My children played with his on those occasions. Larry assisted my family financially after two sanitary sewer back-ups in our house. After the second back-up in 2013, he even took the extraordinary measure of buying a house in Arlington, Texas and renting it back to us so we could move out of the contaminated building. Our house insurance would not pay for the sewer damage as it coincided with a flood in the region. This was a most generous act on his part and demonstrates the kind of man he was.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Larry's family at this time of sorrow.  I have known Larry since 1979 when we worked together at Employers Casualty Company.  Larry and I were business partners at Enviro-Tox Loss Services for a number of years.  I have many fond memories of Larry during our time together at ETLS.  We always enjoyed a relaxing game of golf and frequently smoked a satisfying stogie afterwards.  Rest in Peace, Big Guy.

My thoughts and prayers are with Sharon Fitch and all of Larry’s children and grandchildren. Larry and I started working together in 1976 when I started working for Employers Casualty Company. We carpooled together when we both lived in Garland. We worked together in the Dallas District Office together and he was also my supervisor there before we both got promoted to the Home Office of Employers Casualty Company. We both left Employers before they went into receivership and we remained good friends over the years. God bless Sharon and all of Larry’s family. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
