Daisy de los Angeles Bouza Gil

Memorial service will be held at Moore Funeral Home on South Bowen and Arlington, Texas at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Burial will follow at 2 pm at Greenwood in Fort Worth, Tx. Our precious “Mima” was born on August 2, 1938 in Barbacoa Provencia de Oriente, Cuba. While in Cuba, she attended Catholic school.

Daisy married Agustin Gil on December 13, 1959. In 1967, she immigrated to Spain with her husband Agustin Gil and their son Jorge Gil. The family found their way to Texas where they were blessed with the birth of their daughter Elizabeth. Daisy was a dedicated employee of the Internal Revenue Service where she began as an interpreter and many years later, Daisy retired from a supervisory position.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents Rafael Silvaro Bouza Legra and Estela Rey Lambert; and her husband of 55 years, Agustin Gil.

Daisy is survived by: Son Jorge Gil, his wife Barbara and their son Sean Gil, their daughter Ashley Kothmann and her spouse Brandon Kothmann. Daughter Elizabeth Heubner, her husband Roger, their son Trent Carmack. Brother Rafael Pedro Bouza Rey and wife Isora Sister Estelita Del Carmen Bouza Rey and husband Freddi Nephew Frank Fernandez and family Niece Ana Uribe and family ; as well as countless friends.
