David was born in Rotan, Texas. His family moved to Sweetwater Texas when he was a teenager. He graduated from Newman High School in Sweetwater in 1958. He served in the US Army from 1959 to 1963. After the Army, he found employment at Southwestern Bell ( now part of AT&T ). He would retired from there after 34 years. He married Minnie Faye Johnson in 1968. They moved to Dallas and had three children: Tyson Lemoyne, Christy Ja, and Cathey Jo. After retirement, he and Minnie moved to Arlington Texas where he would live the remainder of his life. He is survived by his wife Minnie, children Tyson, Christy and Cathey, his daugther in-law Melissa Ann Bradshaw, brother Timothy, and sister-in-law Pam, plus numerous other family and friends too many to list.
A visitation for David will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
