David Lee Thompson

David was born in Lebanon, Missouri because of his father's service during WWII. He soon moved to Texas after his father was shipped to Europe and was raised in Ft.Worth. He graduated from Paschal High School and received a BS from TCU and attended Cornell Business School. He was a CPA and worked mainly in the banking industry. He served in the Texas National Guard from 1964 to 1971.

David was married to Lana K. Harris on July 29, 1967; and they raised three children. He is survived by his wife, Lana; their children, David Allen Thompson, Suzanne Sessums, and Shawn Casey Thompson; three grandchildren, Addison Morrison, Tanner & Colby Sessums; and one great grandchild, Indy Morrison.

David enjoyed collecting coins and watching professional and college sports.

A visitation for David will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012.
