Dear Foster Family,
I'm saddened by Debbie passing.

I went through all of school with Debbie. From grammar into high school. Many sleepovers and time spent on Lake Hopatcong . I remember her fondly and whenever passing her childhood home ,I think of her and those times.
May she rest easy ❤

Dear Phillip and Foster Family,
My heart is broken to hear about the loss of Debbie! We were childhood friends from a very early age. We grew up together in Lake Hopatcong and I have many fond memories of our youth! Whether it was having sleep overs at each others homes, studying together in school or just having fun skating on the ice to each others home in the winter time. I was so happy when I reconnected with her at our 40th HS reunion. If any of her siblings are reading this, please reach out (especially Doreen whom I remember so well). I'd love to know how you're doing. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Phillip, I know she loved you very much and was so happy being with you! Please keep all those happy memories close to you as you go through this most difficult time! Debbie will live on in all our memories...until we meet again. RIP Dear Friend! Much love, Laura Boas Simpson (laurasimpson84@hotmail.com)

My brother, Phillip Owens, found his soulmate in Debbie. She will truly be missed by our entire family. I can not imagine Phil without Debbie. I pray she rest in peace as we continue to cherish the memories she left with all of us.

Debbie was a great mentor to me when I started with Southwestern Bell on Border St in Arlington, almost 30 years ago. When my phone rang at my desk for my very first live call from a customer, I was petrified. I looked up at her and she stared back , finally saying to me -" you have to answer it" in her no nonsense way and laughed her laugh. I will never forget that. She was a wonderful teacher and friend. My condolences to the family.

Debbie was a beautiful spirit. I worked with her at AT&T for a short period and always found her to be very happy. I know she loved photography a lot and traveled to many states where there were workshops being held. May she Rest In Peace.
