Doris Russell was born on February 22, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois to Emily and George Berner. She passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Russell, her sisters Glady Bockel and Bernice Berner, and her mother and father, Emily and George Berner. She is survived by her two daughters, Susie Russell of Irving, Texas, and Janie Peddicord and her husband Steve, of Arlington, Texas, and her beloved grandsons, Clay and Taylor Peddicord.. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where she met her husband of 54 years. She enjoyed needlework and boating with her husband, on Lake Sinclair, in Michigan, and most of all her two grandsons. She and her husband lived in many different states until they retired in Hot Springs, Arkansas. They eventually settled in Arlington, Texas to be close to her grandsons. She was a very active part of their lives as they grew up.
