PANTEGO -- Dr. Charles Richard Knerr passed away on January 2, 2012. He was comforted by his wife and friends at the time of his passing. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Moore Bowen Funeral Home, 4216 S. Bowen Road in Arlington.
Dr. Knerr was born July 17, 1947 in Munich, Germany. He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Andrew and Charles; mother, Anna Knerr; brother, Jerry Knerr; as well as thousands of students who benefitted from his brilliance, wit, and intelligence. Dr. Knerr was co-founder of the American Undergraduate Moot Court Association, and was a professor of political science at the University of Texas at Arlington. He will be remembered and missed.
