Elizabeth Lois Werneke

Beth was born in Paris, Texas, 10/7/1933 to Pete and Lorraine Grinstead of Paris, Texas.

Beth graduated from Paris high school. After graduating from high school Beth lived in the Dallas fair Park area where she worked at Bell Telephone company.

Beth met the love of her life, Marvin Werneke while Ice-skating at Fair Park.

Beth and Marvin were married in Paris, Texas on Easter Sunday 4/131952. Beth And Marvin were married for 71 years.

In 71 years of marriage, they lived in many places, from Wichita Falls, Texas, Stamford, Connecticut, St. Louis, Missouri, Dallas,Texas, Seattle, Washington. Paris, Texas, and Mansfield, Texas. While living in Paris,Texas Beth was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Beth had a passion for collecting Antiques, She loved to find a bargain at thrift stores. Her greatest passion are her children, grandchildren, Great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Beth was proceeded in death by her husband Marvin Werneke, her parents Pete and Lorraine Grinstead and her brother Donald Grinstead. As well as as many aunts and uncles.

Beth is survived by her 3 children : Michael Werneke( Becky), Melody McLeroy( Johnny ) and Clay Werneke( Laura).

6 grandchildren: Wendy Spears(Paul), Jeff Werneke(Jen), Jenniffer Werneke (John), Corey McLeroy

( Jessica ), Amanda Martinez( Rob), and Matthew Warneke.

16 Great grandchildren: Collin, Calli, Sierra, Kieran, Pearson, Rylie, Noah, Parker, Lola, Jessalyn, Anla, Aedan, Jaylee, Jagger, Jett, and Jayda!

3 Great, great grandchildren: Reyer, Brynn and Rett.

Beth Is also survived by her brother Larry and his two sons Greg and Chris, her brother Andy, and his wife Cheryl and their daughter Melissa!

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A committal service will occur Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
