Eloise Betty Stout

Eloise Betty Stout passed from this world on August 27th, 2026, at College Park Nursing and Rehab in Weatherford, Texas. Born on August 10th, 1945 in Akron, Ohio, she was the 7th of 8 children.

After high school, she served in the Army, where she met her husband. After marriage, she studied for and received an LPN license, working as a newborn nursery nurse for much of her career. In 1985, she graduated from the Cameron University School of Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lissie Greathouse, and her husband, Marlin Stout Jr. She is survived by her brothers, Kurt and Roy Greathouse, both of Vallesville, Ohio; her sisters, Barbara McGuire of Norton, Ohio, and Willadean Vorsck of Barberton, Ohio; as well as sons Jonathan (Jon) Stout of Waynesboro, Virginia, and Marlin Stout III of Arlington, Texas. Also grandchildren Madeleine Stout of Tallahassee, Florida, Robert Harris of Roanoke, Texas, and Marlin Stout IV of Arlington, Texas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Eloise will be laid to rest with military honors on September 8th at 9:00 A.M. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211, where she will join her husband. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to a local children's hospital.
