Emily Theresa Polazzi Wigley

Emily was born on Aug. 25, 1926 in Portsmith, New Hampshire. She worked for the phone company in New Hampshire and transferred to El Paso where she met and married Don in 1954. Shortly after, they moved to Farmington, New Mexico where they lived and started their familly. They moved to Arlington in 1979.

Emily volunteered and helped people throughout her life. She was involved in her children's schools and their multiple after school sports and activities. She served as a regular volunteer at local hospitals in both Farmington and Arlington, running the hospital gift shop at Arlington Medical Center for several years. She loved working in her yard, animals -especially cats, and helping others. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Emily is preceeded in death by her husband Donald Wigley, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors: Daughter, Theresa Moffitt (Michael) of Arlington and son, Brian Wigley (Ann) of Winchester, VA.; grandchildren Brett, Buster, Maddie, Candace and Dawn; niece Earlene Bickford (Dennis) of Farmington, NM.
