Gerald Leon Coakley of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born on October 24, 1936, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Gerald N. Coakley and Daisy Laborde Coakley. After graduating from high school he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and made a career in mechanical engineering.
