She was born to parents Sue Medrano and Michael Ramos in Hutchinson Kansas on July 8, 1938.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Sue Medrano and Michael Ramos. Her Husband Newt Cleghorn, Great Grandson Daniel Michael Barnes and several Aunts and Uncles.
Gloria was married to Newt C. Cleghorn in Wichita, Kansas July 9, 1956. Together they raised five children. Diana Maus of Colwich, Kansas, Kevin Cleghorn of Wichita, Kansas, Michael Cleghorn of Paradise, Texas, Mark Cleghorn of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Debra Cleghorn of Arlington, Texas. Gloria was Grandmother to 21, Great Grandmother to 45, and a Great, Great Grandmother to 3 children.
She was a homemaker for her husband and children, never worked outside the home. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family, always joking and laughing with her grandchildren. She especially loved music and dancing never hesitating to join in any fun. She was always “Mom” to all the kids in the neighborhood. She loved her pet birds and dog. Some of her favorite interests were collecting Elvis memorabilia, owls, and watching Dallas Cowboys football with her family.
She will TRULY be missed.
