Harry Marin Maldonado was born July 20, 1961, in San Juan Puerto Rico to his parents Daniel Marin and Gloria Maldonado. The youngest brother of Daniel, Annie, and Ketlin.

At an early age, Harry’s passion was to play baseball, but he instead followed his father’s footsteps and joined the United States Army. As a Sargent received special service training as a tanker, driving tanks. Also, as part of the military baseball team, he played in many locations including Korea.

At the age of 20, he was re-introduced to his childhood love Janet and they married on July 25, 1981. Together they welcomed three children.

After completing his contract with the Army in 1986, Harry began his 34-year career with American Airlines where he built a lot of good relationships.

In 1999 Harry re-dedicated his life to the Lord and choose to live a Christ-like life; sharing his life’s testimony with everyone.

There are many words that can describe Harry. For some of us, he was a loving, funny, selfless, and caring friend. For others, he was a man of his word, disciplined, respectful, and always follow the rules. Harry was a teacher, a counselor, and a man that lived every day with the same principles: God, Family, Honesty, and Work ethic.

Let the work he has done on earth speak for himself; he has been given the highest rank and honor… to be in the presence of God for eternity. Harry is survived by his wife Janet; four children Junior, Hiram, Stephanie, and Daniel; and grandkids Macaela, Madden, Kingston, Noah, Miri, Nicholas, and Isabel.

My bride and I will miss Mr. Marin’s great smile and friendly hand wave when we drove by his house. We did not know him all that well, but knew without a doubt that he was good man. He was always seen working outside, cleaning yard and leafs. Our most sincere condolences to the entire Marin family. We remain your friends and neighbors. May God bless you.

I met you in 6th grade and we went through middle school and high school together. We practically grew up together. I am going to miss you my friend, always and forever. Rest in peace my brother.
