Herbert Todd Nance Jr.

Herbert Todd Nance Jr, age 87, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2026. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 7, 1939. Herbert graduated from Mission High School and received a Math Degree from Abilene Christian University. He was married to Patchare on June 9, 1996. Herbert worked in the US Marine Corps, achieving his highest rank of Colonel. After faithfully serving his country, he spent many years working at Fort Worth Coin, where he enjoyed sharing his knowledge and passion for history and numismatics with fellow collectors. He was also a longtime member of the American Numismatic Association. He had a passion for woodworking, history, reading, and sports. He is survived by his children Robert and Traci, grandchildren Daniel and Jarred, and brother Don.

The family is accepting flowers in lieu of donations.

Visitation will be held at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016, US, on July 29, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016, US, on July 30, 2026, at 11:30 am.

A reception will immediately follow the service in the Chapel at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home , 4216 S. Bowen Rd., Arlington, TX 76016, on July 30, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

Military Honors will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211, US, on July 30, 2026, at 3:15 pm.
