Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Moore Funeral Home Bowen Road Chapel, 4216 S. Bowen Road, in Arlington.
She was born Iva Mae Hughes on September 3, 1932, in Tennessee Colony, Texas, a daughter of Clarence Hughes and Nellie Frazier Hughes. Iva worked in the insurance field doing administrative work. Her greatest joy in life was to be a mother and grandmother. She leaves behind an amazing legacy with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Iva is survived by her husband, David Miller; three sons, Gary Gayle Traweek, Jerry Traweek and wife Cathy, and David W. Miller; two daughters, Kathy Zulim, and Sandra Melton and husband Mary; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and her wonderful companion and dog, Waylon.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
