Jackie Tuggle

Born in 1950 in Grand Prairie, Texas, Jackie graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1968 and earned her master’s degree in education from the University of North Texas. She dedicated her life to being an educator. She loved her students, being a classroom teacher, and eventually a principal for many years.

Jackie was married to Charlie Tuggle for 47 years. Charlie preceded her in death in 2022, and Jackie's love for him remained strong until her final days. She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Newman; son-in-law, David Newman; and three grandchildren whom she fiercely loved, Liam, Autumn, and Luke.

Jackie’s warmth, dedication, and love for her family and community will be remembered by all who knew her.

A visitation for Jackie will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012.
