Jacquelyn Strong, known by many as, Jackie, lived a long life with God. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. She had a vibrant personality. Family members knew her to be an exceptional daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She lived patience, love, and dedication. These were some of her defining qualities. She met my father, Jeridan Strong, at a high school choir contest, married in 1953, and remained together till his death in 2008. Jackie was a member in a church choir all her adult life until the notes no longer made sense to her mind. She was also a dedicated member of United Women in Faith working for the benefit of women, children, and youth around the world. Her family, her choir, and the UWF were the major avenues Jackie used to bring the Kingdom God into her life and those around her.
