Janna Kay Mitchell, of Arlington, Texas, wife and lifelong best friend, passed away peacefully at her home, on Friday evening. She was 72. She was surrounded by her family, friends and husband of 46 years. She was a Texas born Wonder, outspoken and loving, passionate and giving, she loved life and was easy to laugh. She moved from Texas to Detroit, MI, to be with Joe, working at Frito Lay in both states. She loved babies. She always wanted one of her own but it was not to be. If you were with a baby, anywhere, anytime, you were sure to spend the next few minutes answering name, age and being told what a beautiful baby it was.
She was blessed with Wesley Thomas, grandnephew, who she loved as her own. Then a wife Amber and then a grandbaby, Rebecca Jo. She finally had her babies.
She was happy even through her pain. She suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis for many years, but rarely complained.
