OBITUARY

Jeffrey Merwyn SORENSEN

July 16, 1952July 9, 2018

Monday, July 9th Jeff Sorensen passed away peacefully at home. We are heartbroken, devastated and shocked with his passing. He loved his family as much as he loved playing a winning game of golf, watching a Packers game or overseeing a Student Congress meeting. He impacted and influenced many lives as a friend, mentor, coach, and his most important role as a dedicated and supportive father to our children Samantha and Scott. He was a loving and supportive husband to his wife Mardie and loved his family dearly, his mom Helen, sisters Sher and Deb, their husbands Tim and Mark and his nieces and nephew.

The family would like to invite you to join them as they remember and celebrate Jeff this Tuesday, July 17th at 6:00 pm in the Rose Bud Theatre at UTA. More information including event location information can be found at this link https://www.facebook.com/events/906764652843176/?ti=icl In lieu of flowers, for those who would like to honor Jeff, a scholarship fund is being established at UTA in his name. You can give online at https://giving.uta.edu/Give select the designation as the Student Life Fund, at the bottom please fill out the tribute information to be “In Memory of Jeff Sorensen” more information about how to give can also be found at the event link.
