Jerry was born on January 6, 1948 in Coloma, Michigan to O.V. Kirby and Merle Irene (Turner). After high school, Jerry served his country in the United States Army. When he was discharged from service he made career at General Motors as an automotive specialist.
He will be deeply missed by all.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 S. Bowen Road, Arlington, Texas 76016. There are no public services planned at this time.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Kathie Kirby; daughter, Wendi Young and husband, Kevin; brother, Dale Wayne Kirby and wife, Cecilia; sister, Peggy Kirby Williams and husband, Tom; sister-in-law, Cathy Kirby; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
