Johnnie was born in Shreveport on February 22, 1950, to father Willie Brown and mother Pearline Taylor
Johnnie enjoyed the open road in his younger life traveling across the country with his family as a dedicated VP for the Soul Brothers MC and decided to step down to plant roots and raise his children. You could find Pop any given day fishing at the lake or out for his usual stroll. He loved a good barbecue with his family and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys with a cold corona or modelo in one hand and old school music pouring from his apartment. Most of all he enjoyed socializing with his friends and family. Pop took so many people under his wing he was more than a father, friend, uncle or brother he was a force to be reckoned with and will never be forgotten. He truly lived up to an Indian proverb that we both loved: When you were born you cried the world rejoiced live your life so when you die the world cries and you rejoice
