Jon Michael Arthur

Jon Michael Arthur surrounded by family and friends passed away on November 17th 2023.

Jon Michael was born on October 1st 1966 to Herman and Ann Arthur in Fort Worth Tx.

He was in the 1st graduating class of James Martin Highschool in Arlington in 1985.

Jon was known to most of his family and friends as “Mike or Michael” he was a dedicated Postal Worker who served his community with dedication and fortitude for 27 plus years. His fellow coworkers were a huge part of his extended family.

Mike was also an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and was overjoyed with their triumphant championship this past season. Jon Michael and his entire family worked out at the old Arlington Stadium for the Texas Rangers as concession vendors. He met several life-long friends out at the old ballpark.

Michael shared many of his passions with his friends and family including baseball, going to concerts, going to movies and pro wrestling.

Mike is survived by a huge extended family of friends, his sister and brother-in-law Hugh and Kari Farmer of Burleson TX as well as his uncle and aunt Mike and Terry Boren of Alpine TX.

He is preceded in death by his father Herman Larkin Arthur, mother Ann Boren Arthur and Grandmother Carmenlea Boren.

A funeral service for Jon will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016.
