Jose Antonio Meza

September 10, 1951 – April 24, 2025

Jose “Joe” passed away after short battle with cancer peacefully in his home in Arlington, TX, surrounded by love and family. He is survived by his loving wife Gloria; daughter, Cynthia Riojas; son-in-law, David Riojas; granddaughter, Diana Angelica Riojas; brother, Arturo (Juanita) Meza; and countless nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Elizabeth Meza; parents, Manuel and Manuela Meza; and 5 brothers.

In 1975, he met the love of his life Gloria. Throughout these 49 years of marriage, they raised a family, furthered their education, Joe encouraged and passed on his knowledge and skill in the art of Nursing to countless students. Over his 53-year career, he cared for countless souls in need and ease of their suffering. His passion for caring for others was God’s calling for him.

Daddy, we miss you with every breath we take. We look forward to holding you and reuniting with you in Heaven. Rest easy and find your eternal solace with Jesus. Wait for us at the Rainbow Connection, where we will see you and Elizabeth again. I love you mi Viejo.
