Joseph Albert Consol passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2014. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel. Joe was born Dec. 5, 1949, in Chicago, Ill., to Albert and Margaret Consol. Joe served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1976. He was strong and determined and will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Joe loved to travel and even traveled to all 50 states in one year. Those who have preceded him in death are his parents. Survivors: Beloved wife of 44 years, Ellen Consol; children, Stephen Consol, Christy Williams and Ryan Consol; grandson, Aaron Chasteen; sister, Regina Maples; niece, Rebeca Maples; and brother, Albert Consol.
