

Kendra Shonterria (Terri) Daniels passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 6:47 a.m. She was born on February 24, 1977 in Copperas Cove, TX to the union of Kenneth Estes Daniels Jr and Dr. Glenda Lynn Bowden Daniels. She was the second of three children.Terri confessed her faith in Christ at an early age at Wildewood Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from James Martin High School in Arlington, TX in 1995. She continued her education at Tarrant County College.Terri was a dedicated and loyal employee for sixteen years for the Arlington Independent School District joining the staff at Sam Houston High School as an educational aide in 2000 and received her certification. In 2010, she received recognition for ten years of volunteer service with Special Olympics Texas. She enjoyed volunteering for community service activities with Chi Eta Phi Sorority - Lambda Eta Chapter.Terri was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William Bowden and Myrtle Frances Walker Bowden; Aunt: Norma Daniels Wright.Left to cherish Terri's wonderful memories are her parents: Kenneth Daniels Jr and Dr. Glenda Bowden Daniels, Arlington, TX; Grandparents Kenneth Daniels Sr. and Helen Marie Daniels, Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers: Kenneth (Treis) Daniels III (Carrie), Arlington, TX and Kristopher Anthony (Tony) Daniels (Meredith), Fate, TX; three aunts: Gwenn Bowden, Los Angeles, CA; Marsha Daniels Davison, Oklahoma City, OK; Debbie Bowden (Charles), Austin, TX; two uncles: Bruce Daniels (Barbara), Dallas, TX and Sherman Wright, Midwest City, OK; Nephew Chancellor Drake, Fate, TX; godparents: George and Lugene Garrett, Dallas, TX; special aunts: Candy Baptist, Dot McCrae, Milo Russell, Rhonda Walker, Gloria Martinez and Cassandra Mims; special friends: Mario Jones, Joe Kelly and Tosha Sabir; and a host of great aunts/uncles, cousins, and friends.The Family would like to thank supporting friends from Sam Houston High School, Yellow Roadway Texas Christian University Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences, The University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing, Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, and Mount Olive Baptist Church. A special thanks to the dedicated health care providers at Texas Health Arlington Memorial, South Arlington Dialysis Center, U.T. Southwestern, Medical Center of Arlington, Encompass Home Health, and Dr. James Hosler and staff. Also, special thanks to our cousins Barry and Marie Franklin for your endless support and all of the kindness in words, deeds and prayers for our family. Visitation will be held at Moore-Bowen Funeral Home Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10am. Funeral Service will follow at 1pm, Committal Service at Moore Memorial Gardens.
