Leesha Anne Hickman

Leesha Anne Hickman of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the age of 34. She was born on March 30, 1990, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Robert and Angela Seibold. She was the second born of four siblings; Cassandra, Benjamin, and Samantha.

Leesha grew up on Arlington, Texas, and as a child, enjoyed bicycling around her neighborhood with her siblings, watching her father play video games, and singing songs to her mother. She loved spending time with her cousins, aunts, and uncles every summer, and playing with her childhood dogs, Lady and Eightball.

Leesha went to school in Joshua, Texas, and as a child, participated in gymnastics, dance, competitive cheerleading, and soccer. In high school, Leesha was a part of the soccer and cheer teams, and played clarinet and bass clarinet in the band. Leesha led the marching band her senior year as Drum Major and acted in the student plays. She also made the finals in the school's annual singing competition, Star Search.

After high school, Leesha pursued her love of music by becoming a member of the Racine Scout Drum Corps, where she traveled around the Midwest. Leesha was a proud member of the Maverick Marching Band at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated with a degree in Broadcast Communication.

Leesha's love of music continued all her life, and in her adulthood, she would regularly perform at karaoke bars. She had a deep, beautiful, melodious voice. In the year 2012, during a family vacation, Leesha won a singing competition and sang as Cher for the cruise's Singing Spectacular Show.

At 24 years old, Leesha gave birth to her first child, Daxton, and three years later, she gave birth to her second child, Lucas. Leesha passed down her love of music and gaming to her boys.

Leesha is survived by her two sons, Daxton Hickman and Lucas Hickman, her parents, Robert Seibold and Angela Seibold, her siblings, Cassandra Seibold Torres, Benjamin Seibold, and Samantha Seibold, her brother-in-law, Juan Torres, her nephew and niece, Miguel Torres and Evelyn Torres, and her many cousins, uncles, and aunts whom she loved dearly.

A visitation for Leesha will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home.
