She was born on July 9, 1938, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. to James H. and Elnora Scott. She earned a masters degree in psychology and made a career as a clinical psychologist.

A visitation for Lenora will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.
