Linda Louise King

Linda was a retired elementary school teacher with over 31 years in the Catholic and public school systems. She was also an amateur musician and an amateur artist. Linda and her husband have been members of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish since 1989. She was also was a past member, officer, and Woman of the Year, of the church’s Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to cooking, baking and hosting frequent family meals, Linda enjoyed gatherings with friends, reading, and traveling, especially cruises.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Etheridge (Oran Searles); sons, Christopher King (Cheryl), Alex King (Ann Accas) and Andrew King; and also her brother, Kenneth Wenninger, Sr.; and sisters, Utz McMahon, and Jermaine Hennessy.

Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, Texas 76017 on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11 AM. A visitation for Linda will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A private burial ceremony will take place at a later date, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Military Cemetery.
