Marguerite F. Mahan went to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015. Funeral: 7 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel, with visitation 5 to 9 p.m. Marguerite was born Nov. 22, 1920, to Gerald and Benetah Bedwell in Des Moines, Iowa. She lived a life that glorified the Lord. Marguerite was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. She was a world traveler, artist, musician, teacher and editor for the Sunday School Board.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John D. Mahan; sons, Johnny Mahan and Steven Mahan; parents; and brother, Ray O. Bedwell (Dorothy).
Survivors: Beloved daughter, Bonny Fish (David); daughter-in-law, Elaine Mahan; grandchildren, Steven Fish, Michael Fish (Alesa), Michael Mahan (Angela), John Mahan (Heather); great-grandchildren, Arianna, Alex, Judah, Naomi and Miriam; nephew, Dr. Michael Bedwell (Sharon); niece, Jan Henry (Bill); and many extended family members and dear friends.
