

Arlington, Texas — Marie passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the age of 85.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Dennington; her father- and mother-in-law, Joseph and Eleanor Ross; her brothers, James (Virginia) Dennington, Martin (Irene and second wife Alice) Dennington, John (Carol) Dennington, and Gerard Dennington; her brother-in-law, John Ross; and her nephew, Joseph Dennington.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Robert Ross; her sons, Joseph (Lisa) Ross and Peter (Monica) Ross; her grandchildren, Nathan (Jasmine) Cline, Christian Ross, and Sarah (Mike) Pincomb; her great-grandchildren, Connor and Logan Cline, and Abigail Pincomb; her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and countless cherished friends.
Born on January 19, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, Marie lived a life rooted in family, faith, and love.
Marie had been an avid bowler for many years, a slot machine master, a great listener for anyone who just needed an ear, as well as a second mom to many who needed a voice of reason. She helped start and run the family business for over 30 years. A proud member of the Arlington Elks Lodge, she would always lend a helping hand.
Marie gave love unconditionally. She leaves behind a wonderful family and a group of close friends who will forever cherish her gentle spirit, generous heart, and quiet example of a life well lived.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing in celebration of Marie's life on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 S. Bowen Rd., Arlington, TX 76016.
A Mass will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5819 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd., Arlington, TX 76016.
Burial will immediately follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 7521. Following the burial, a funeral reception will be held at the Arlington Elks Lodge, 601 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, TX 76010.
