Martha was born on June 26, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter to the late Raymond and Juana Vasquez, and sister to the late Fidel Zamora. She went to St. Procopius and upon graduation, worked as a healthcare administrator. In 1973, she married the late Avelino Azpeitia and they had four children. She retired at the age of 64 and moved to Texas. She loved to watch drama and crime shows, spending time with her grandchildren, loved to donate to charities. She was always laughing and wearing a smile on her face. Always thinking of others first, she was loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Her loving memory will live on with her children: Dolores (Luis), Raymond (Melissa) Nancy (Charles) and Andres (Jesenia); nine grandchildren Anthony (Guadalupe), Jadzia, Eli, Jonathan, Teresa, Isabella, Logan, Elena and Eliana: one great-grandchild Olivia: and many extended family members.
