I still can't believe that you're gone. It seems like not so long ago we were out mudding in your truck while my mom and aunt Ivy were making Thanksgiving dinners...I've always looked up to you as a father figure because you were always there for me. I'll never forget the vacations we went on and will cherish the memories I have of you. I love and miss you dearly Uncle Mike.

Ivy, we were so saddened to here of the passing of mike. He was a good man and all of us who knew him will miss him. God bless you and your family.

I was so saddened to hear of Mike's passing.   He was a great guy.   I value the time that I knew him and will miss him terribly

Mike used to come to Des Moines to celebrate Christmas with the Irvine family, and our mutual grandparents when we were little kids.  We didn't see each other a lot over the years, but remember he was allergic to "white" milk, and could only drink chocolate!  It looks like he kept his red hair until the end.  Because we travel to Mexico quite often, and sometimes drive, we wanted to come see Mike and Ivy on our way to Mexico.  I'm sorry to say we will never get the chance to see him again.  We hope to drive down to Mexico at the end of January, or first part of February, maybe we can see Ivy then.  I am so sorry for your loss, and ours.

We are so saddened by your loss Ivy.  Mike was a great guy, friend, co worker and associate.  He always had a friendly word.  Never negative, never down, always so eager to help his fellow man!  "To whom we say farewell, are welcomed by others"...

I'm very sorry to hear of Mike's passing.  Mike was my cousin but I'm sorry to say we hadn't been close or spoken in decades.  My memories of Mike are all very fond ones, and I wish I had known him as an adult.  Having lost a brother at a young age, just this year, I am sure this is a very difficult time. Mike has been my mentor and friend for over three years. I have worked with him on a number of projects for Superior. He was a man loved and respected by his family, friends, employees and business associates. He leaves a legacy and a high bar for others to follow. I will miss Mike but the best thing I can do is to honor his memory, his advise, his jokes and his business visions. He will always be someone I refer to when it comes to doing the right thing.

Mike was truly a friend that I will miss tremendously.  Our friendship goes back around 30 years.  I always loved to haggle with him over prices of equipment or repairs; I'm sure he expected as much when I called.
As the time for my retirement grew closer I had no idea that an end of an era was ending for him also.
I will greatly miss him. I think of an old TV commercial that said, "I love you, man" and I do.

I have know Mike since 1975 when he was a salesman for SPEC in Oklahoma City. Mike was more than a business aqcquaintance he was a friend that would do anything in his power to help you out and did more than once. His problem solving abilities were unique. I will miss the conversations we use to have, his sense of humor, his infectious laugh, but most of all his friendship.

The entire American roofing industry has suffered a great loss with the passing of Mike Cross. He will be truly missed.  My sincere condolences go out to the entire Cross family and all those whose lives he touched.  Mike will forever hold a special place in my memories.
