Michael was a dear friend of mine. We went to high School together. After classes we would hangout and do fun things that teenagers do. Once we reached adulthood our lives took individual turn's but we kept each other in our hearts. Then after years of not seeing each other, with crossed paths on social media. He rescued me when I was at a low point in my life. What a dear friend who will never be forgotten. And will truly be missed. Love you Brother. Rest in peace. Your friend always! Michael Boykin.

I met Michael when he was in the 6th grade. I was in the 7th and Letia, his sister became my best friend. We had much fun. The most memorable thing about Michael was that laugh and how he always called me "Redmond." He will be truly missed. My condolences to the family.
