

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Moore and Sons Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Moore and Sons Funeral Chapel with rosary at 7 p.m.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities or the American Cancer Society.
Michael graduated from Kapaun High School in 1963 and bravely joined the U.S. Army at 17 years old. After his discharge, he spent the next 42 years in the aerospace industry. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and active in the Catholic Church, as well as other charities. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Michael was preceded in death by his brother, James Winter.
Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are wife of 29 years, Bonnie Bailey Winter; daughter, Julie Hart of Fort Worth; son, Michael A. Winter (Kimberly) of Arlington; daughter, Elizabeth Winter Reed (Louis) of Springtown; daughter, Kayla of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Christian Hart, Jaiden Reed and Anna Reed; sisters, Mary White of Westminster, Colo., Barbara Rieger (Dale) of Lafayette, Colo., Paula Kunkle (Dick) of Wichita, Kan.; sister-in-law, Mary Winter of Basalt, Colo.; along with leaving a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
