She passed early afternoon on May 16th 2020 at Texas Health Huguley Hospital – Fort Worth South.
Nori was a graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and she also earned her Master Certificate in Telecommunications. She served as a first responder dispatcher for Mansfield Police and Fire for 14 years and began serving as a first responder dispatcher for Burleson Police Department in March of 2020. Nori's interests included Star Wars and Disney. She loved writing, baking, making handmade soaps, collecting figurines and trinkets, and musical theatre. Nor was intrigued by the supernatural and enjoyed Halloween. She was also a devoted animal lover.
Nori will be remembered for her contagious smile and her witty disposition. She was the kindest person you could ever meet. She had a beautiful, caring heart and was passionate about helping others; she loved her profession and it showed. Most of all, Nori was the best mother. She loved her daughter, Laurisa, more than anything.
Nori was preceded in death by her mother, Dinorah Pacheco.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Michael Omlor; her daughter, Laurisa Omlor; her father and stepmother, David Sr. and Cynthia Serrano; her sister and brother, Ivelisse Amelio and David Serrano Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Veronica Serrano, Briana Hudson, Gabriela LaSalle, Diego Amelio; and countless other family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and whose lives she touched.
