

Ola Mae Stephens, lovingly known as "Nanny," "Mom," and "Grapes Nanny," passed peacefully on April 21, 2026, surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply. She was born on May 23, 1936 in Addington, Oklahoma, to Olen and Eunice Roebuck.
Ola Mae lived a life defined by love, faith, and devotion to her family. A proud graduate of HObart High School in 1954, she was a standout basketball player whose determination and spirit were evident even in her youth. In April of that same year, she married the love of her life, Louis Earl Stephens, beginning a lifelong journey centered around family.
She Dedicated many years of hard work to Vought Aircraft before retiring in 1995. Beyond her career, Ola Mae was a woman of many gifts, an excellent seamstress who lovingly made clothes for her daughters, a joyful volleyball player during her children's younger years, and a wonderful cook who brought her family together around the table whenever she could.
Ola Mae was a devoted Christian and faithful follower of Christ. She was a prayer warrior, consistently lifting her family up in prayer and placing her trust in God through every season of life. Her faith was steady, quiet, and powerful; an anchor not only for her, but for those who loved her.
She was known for her vibrant personality. She was bubbly, honest, humourous, and full of life. Ola Mae had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved. Her smile could light up any room, and her laughter was contagious. She was truly the life of every gathering, always ready with a joke, a story or a warm embrace. Above all, she was deeply family-oriented and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved.
She is survived by her sister Jo Ellen Arnold and husband Lee Arnold. She is also survived by her daughters Donna Vick, Sheree Beckler and husband Brad Beckler, Bobbye Moreno and Daughter-in-law Denise Stephens. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Jason Anderson, Wendy Allen, Misty Dunbar, Benjamin Stephens, Lacy Beckler, Brandon Stephens, and Brittany Stephens. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Seth Anderson, Callie Anderson, Caleb Anderson, Jaden Fincher, Tristen Spradling, Raegan Spradling, Esmeralda Lopez, Estrella Lopez, Caylynn Neal, Cannon Neal, and Kynlee Neal.
Ola Mae was preceded in death by her husbands Louis Earl Stephens and Ray Walker. She was also preceded in death by her son Loyd Stephens, her granddaughter Debra Anderson and her great-great-grandson Waylon Spradling. She was preceded in death by her sister Ernestine Hughen, her sister Betty Duree, her brothers Keith Roebuck and Raymond Roebuck, and her parents Olen and Eunice Roebuck.
In her final days, Ola Mae showed the same strength and determination that defined her life. She faced her health challenges with hope and resilience, always believing in better days ahead. While her passing leaves a deep void, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, free from pain, and rejoicing in eternal glory.
Ola Mae Stephens will be remembered for her unwavering love, her joyful spirit, and the way she made everyone feel like family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her, she will be missed beyond measure
