

Patsy was born on January 1, 1933 in Blum, TX the only child of Fred and Rose Olander (Stephens) Noble. Fred passed away when Patsy was only two. As her mother had to pursue work out of town, Patsy was raised primarily by her grandparents. Olander later married Author Fowler in 1941.
Patsy attended Rio Vista Schools with a 1951 graduating class of 6. After graduation, she worked at Convair (Lockheed Martin) in Ft Worth. She met Air Force Airman, Walter Richard Wilson from Topeka, Kansas at Holiday skating rink. They were married in 1954.
They moved to Altus, Oklahoma, Okinawa, and Omaha, Nebraska where Patsy was active in the Wives Clubs. While in Altus, their only child, Kimberly Kay was born. Patsy sold Tupperware and while in Nebraska she worked as a motel maid and assembled mini bikes. When Richard retired in 1972, they returned to Texas where she worked for Parker Chiropractic Foundation for 23 years supervising the file and mail rooms.
Patsy and Richard took square dance lessons in 1975 and became avid dancers holding numerous club and state offices. They were named couple of the year in 2001. They enjoyed dancing for more than 35 years and treasured the life long friends they made.
Patsy loved to sew and decorate cakes. She made her daughter’s wedding dress and cake. She made Halloween costumes and numerous birthday cakes for her grandchildren. She made over 50 square dance dresses. She loved to buy a piece of clothing from the Goodwill and turn it into a square dance dress. She also enjoyed shopping, especially for new purses.
Patsy loved to host parties and was known for her annual Christmas Open Houses where every room and up to 16 Christmas trees were decorated.
Patsy will be remembered for her spunky personality, smiling face, and bling. She could put rhinestones on anything. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard, of 56 years.
Patsy is survived by her only child, Kim Neff and husband, David of Waco; two grandchildren, Preston Neff and Angela Neff both of Arlington; sister-in-laws, Beverly Bell of Missouri and Beatrice Leach of Florida; cousins Sammie Jo Pack of Amarillo and Charlotte Paul of Aztec New Mexico and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
