Peggy Sue Williams, 84 of Arlington, TX passed away June 22. 2022. She was born in Sulphur Springs, TX on February 26, 1938 as Peggy Sue Snow. She was born to Johnny Clarence and Cluster Lorraine Snow.
Peggy graduated from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, TX where she was a proud member of the ROTC. She was married to C.E. Williams on February 7, 1957. She and C.E. were married 65 years. Peggy worked in manufacturing at Samsill Brothers before becoming a stay at home mother.
Peggy had a passion for taking trips to Maypearl to see the wildflowers, she especially loved bluebonnets. She enjoyed writing poetry and was a big fan of Elvis. She loved watching Elvis’ movies and listening to his music. Peggy liked playing card games, Rook was one her favorites.
Peggy is survived by her true love and husband, C.E. Williams, daughters Jane Wright and Pamela Shamblin, grandchildren, Kyle Stacy, Madeline Stacy and Lillian Porter, great grandchildren, Virgil Stacy, Lane Stacy and Cashel Clem, and brother Tommy Snow.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. J.C. Snow, brother Harold Wayne Snow and her infant daughter.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. Her committal service will immediately follow at 3:30 pm at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
