Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Ceasar and Janet Alexander, Ralph's life was marked by service, perseverance, faith, and an unwavering devotion to family. At an early age, he answered the call to serve his country as a wartime veteran of the Vietnam War veteran, demonstrating the courage and commitment that would characterize his life for decades to come.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Ralph earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Ashford University's Forbes School of Business. Throughout his professional career, he spent many successful years in the automotive industry, where his strong work ethic and dedication earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Yet Ralph's greatest calling was not found in business, but in ministry. Upon completing studies at Global School of Ministry, he ordained in 2009 as a minister of the gospel. Answering a profound call on his life, he and his beloved wife, Doris, founded Community of Compassion Outreach Ministries in 2011. The ministry was born from their shared passion for serving the underserved throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth community and abroad, bringing hope, support, and transformation to those in need.
Committed to strengthening individuals and families, Ralph and Doris later became licensed, board-certified therapists through the Therapon Institute and established The Bridge Christian Counseling Center. However, the climax of his ministry was being ordained a pastor at Word of Truth Family Church in 2026 under the leadership of Apostle Eben Conner. Ralph ministered with humility, wisdom, and conviction, touching countless lives through his service, teaching, counseling, and unwavering devotion to Christ. His legacy lives on in the many people he encouraged, uplifted, and inspired through his faithful ministry.
Ralph was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ceasar and Janet Alexander.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Doris Alexander; his children, Cedric, T'Shana, and Keisha; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by his presence.
Family was the cornerstone of Ralph's life. Having experienced brokenness and adversity in their own journeys, Ralph and Doris intentionally built a home grounded in faith, love, restoration, and unity. Together, they understood the healing power of family and worked diligently to build a legacy that would endure for generations. Their commitment to preserving and strengthening family bonds became one of the defining hallmarks of their lives together.
Though he has exchanged time for eternity, Ralph's legacy lives on through the faith he shared, the lives he impacted, and the family he loved so deeply. His wisdom, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion will be remembered always.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ralph's life and legacy at a Celebration of Life service to be held at Word of Truth Family Church, 8201 Webb Ferrell Road, Arlington, Texas 76002, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Flower deliveries to be made directly to the church.
"Well done, good and faithful servant."
