I've seen Bob and Tod at the Ranger's Opening Day game every year for the last 25 years or more. Bob was always a favorite, someone I looked forward to seeing and talking to every spring. He will be missed by so many people.

Sending prayers to all. Hopefully you can find peace in knowing he was a well loved man by many. Going to miss him on my trips to Texas. He loved a good bargain .. making people smile and a side trip to the  VFW.

Oh Yankee Bob.  What a great, gernerous gentleman.  We has such great talks about New Hampshire since we lived in the same town and went to the same high school, although about 50 years apart. Haha  Our houses were even pretty close to each.  You will surely be missed by your family and friends.  Rest In Peace.  Enjoy your lobster, cocktail and hope you win the big one on the slots.

He may have been Yankee Bob to many but he was "Candy Man" for the staff at Mansfield Senior LIfestyles!  Bob would always bring bingo prizes, magazines and sweet treats.  Often hiding a candy bar in our desk drawers to find later after he left.
We will miss his generous spirit and contagious smile.  Rest in peace, friend.

Rest in peace, Bob.  Always loved your infectious smile and the friendship you and Mom shared. You were a good man-Heaven just received another jewel. Love you. Bob was such a great guy. I remember him well from our days at Lockheed in Fort Worth.  He was always upbeat & brought smiles to everyone's face.  He will definitely be missed.

Bob's birthday with LHS 1952 classmates and family in Laconia, NH

Friends, Dorothy Duffy and Bob Chapman lunch at Lyon's Den, Gilford, NH



Bob's LHS 52 classmates are very saddened to hear that our classmate and friend, Bob Chapman, had a fatal heart attack Thursday, April 27, 2017. 

Bob has attended about all of our class reunions and we were looking forward to Bob attending his 65th LHS '52 Class Reunion. The LHS '52 Steering Committee includes Bob's brother-in-law and another of our classmates, Bill Bastraw. Bill is married to Bob's sister, Gwen Chapman Bastraw. 

And I, personally, was looking forward to another lovely luncheon date with Bob at the Lyon's Den. I believe it was my turn to buy! We usually followed with a tour of Bob's favorite haunts and visits with people he cared enough to remember from his earlier life in Laconia, NH. I enjoyed Bob's visits. He was so alive in spirit and as his broad smile demonstrated, it was easy for him to love so much around him. 

 On one of Bob's visits, we managed to gather a group for lunch and celebrated his birthday. It is now a very fond memory.

Gone but not forgotten, 

Our condolences to Bob's family in Texas and New Hampshire. He will be missed for sure.
