Robin Kay Underwood-Wardle

Robin Kay Underwood-Wardle, age 59 of Grand Prairie, passed away on January 9, 2021. She was born on January 7, 1962 in Arlington, Texas, the daughter of Robert Payne and Joan Mathews. Robin married David Underwood in 1977 and he passed away in 1989. Robin later married John Wardle on November 2, 2001 and they celebrated 19 years together before her passing.

Robin attended Euless High School and was a 1980 graduate of Bryan Adams High School in Dallas. She attended ATI Medical Assistant School and graduated in 1991. Robin had a caring heart and she loved to help others. She worked as a phlebotomist at Parkland Hospital and also as a billing coordinator for UT Southwestern Medical Center. In her spare time, Robin enjoyed swimming, camping, listening to classic rock and country music, and she had a green thumb with her many plants. Robin's greatest pride was her family and she devoted much of her free time to quality family time. Robin attended Gateway Church in Grand Prairie.

Robin is survived by her husband John; sons Dustin Underwood and Danial Underwood (Chrystal Brimhall); daughters Crystal Wardle and Courtney Wardle; six grandchildren; mother Joan; brothers Jack Geer and David Payne. She was preceded in death by her father and brother Steve Geer.

Memorial service Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00pm at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, Arlington. The funeral service will also be live streamed on the funeral home's website.
